Women & Gentlemen

The Women & Gentlemen collection was born from a deeply human encounter. In 2018, the Baobab Collection team met a young woman who had been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35. Her presence, her story and her strength left a lasting impression.

From that moment emerged the desire to create an object that could carry more than fragrance alone. The idea was to imagine a scented candle that would embody beauty and refinement, while also expressing solidarity in a discreet yet lasting way. In keeping with the Maison’s universe, this commitment took the form of a decorative creation, designed to live beautifully within the home.

The inspiration behind Women & Gentlemen lies in the idea of complementary presences. Rather than opposing two worlds, the collection explores their harmony. Women expresses softness, radiance and delicacy. Gentlemen introduces depth, warmth and structure. Together, they create a refined balance, translated into fragrance as well as decoration.

This duality is also reflected in the design of the collection. Each piece is conceived as a true decorative object, where graphic expression, precious detailing and olfactory identity come together in a coherent and sophisticated whole.

The Women candle was the first expression of this vision. It was conceived as a tribute to femininity, luminous, graceful and deeply inspiring. The Gentlemen candle followed naturally, introduced as a complement to the first, and as a symbol of the support, presence and balance that accompany this shared cause.

More than a duo, Women & Gentlemen tells the story of a dialogue. A dialogue between feminine and masculine energies, between emotion and elegance, between the intimate sphere of the home and a wider commitment to research. This is what gives the collection its particular resonance: it is rooted in a real story, yet expressed through the language of fragrance, craftsmanship and design.
