Sacred Trees

Sacred Trees draws on the symbolic power of African trees, long associated with protection, rootedness and transmission. Baobab Collection interprets this heritage through a contemporary decorative lens, creating pieces that feel both expressive and timeless.

The collection is spiritual in inspiration, yet resolutely anchored in design. Each piece brings a quiet presence into the home, combining fragrance with a visual identity that becomes even more striking when illuminated.

The craftsmanship of Sacred Trees lies in the art of sublimation, a technique that allows rich, colourful motifs to be transferred directly onto glass. The design is first printed with natural pigments on a biodegradable film, then applied manually around the vessel. Through heat, the décor bonds perfectly with the glass while preserving its transparency.

This methodology creates one of the collection’s most distinctive effects: the flame remains visible through the motif, and once the candle is lit, the décor comes alive like a lamp. Light reveals the depth of the pattern, transforming the scented candle into a living decorative object. The same expertise extends to the perfume diffusers, creating a coherent and luminous collection.

With the Sacred Trees collection, Baobab Collection supports the Cœur Vert Foundation and its reforestation actions in Côte d’Ivoire, notably through the planting of baobab trees. Dedicated to preserving ecosystems, the foundation places reforestation at the centre of its mission, in connection with the Great Green Wall of Africa project initiated by the African Union. This partnership gives Sacred Trees a meaningful dimension, where scented candles and perfume diffusers become decorative objects infused with both craftsmanship and commitment.
